Haha,USA!

I’m so excited that my American dream can come true in this summer. When landed on this amazing area, everything looks fresh to me so I keep looking and feeling all the time in spite of the long boring flying I had just experienced.
I want to say many things in America impress me deeply such as the beautiful scenery in the country, the unique architectures on the sides of the road. In Truth, America inherited a vast land of endless skies, rich fields, and open prairies. Compared with China, less population allow people here to enjore more resourses. The things I love most here is the lifestyle the Americans have. Most of them know how to live their real life, that is to be more casual and more relax. I love this state of mind, it is important to one’s happiness. When faced with difficulties, just keep smiling and say “it’s OK”, we will soon go out of blue and gain a colorful tomorrow.
To this, I want to say more about two fine points which attach my attention. The first thing is the way Americans treat disabled people. I find that they build and improve physical facilities to care about disabled people’s life almost everywhere. The details show the disabled here are guaranteed the right to play a fair role in social life and share the fruit of the county’s economic. The second thing is American sout out the garbage when they throw it. The garbage is separated depend on whether it can be recycle or not. I think it is a good way to protect our resourses of ecology. We Chinese should take the things like that as an example and improve ourselves.

OhoHoh...io

Well, today is a wonderful day,I have been America for about 5 or 6 days.I was enjoying the Pete's class just a moument ago,and now I'm sitting front my computer to consider what impressed me most.
It's just some feelings that I want to share with everybody.First I have to say OSU is a such beautiful place like a dream land, and many things here make me excited.I've never known that how lively and Passionate American guys can be!All of them like a younger no matter how old they are.Mike and Pete are wonderful men, they take much care of our life in USA.They are so kind, they made everything convenient and nice for us,I cannot express how appreciated I feel.
Now I feel myself one of the buckeyes, because everything here is so freindly, and I got a BUCK ID with my photo and signature. It's one of the most amazing things to me.When I took the ID from Mike,I thought there're must be more fantastic expierence is waiting for me,I was so expected.
Actually,we did many intersts in these days.We got many interesting classes and met a lot of new friends. We went to the zoo, visit the history museum and did exercise in stadium, and so on.Oh,yes!Especially last night,we had a supper in Jim's House,He cooked BBQ for us and we played poker. It was sooooooo 语法标注解释intense,we all enjoyed the game.
Well,it's time to have lunch, and Mike is waiting for us downstairs,so I have to go.But I will post my photos about what I want to share on blog tomrrow,so see you~~~

It’an amazing trip~~

At first,I have to say again that I love here so much, and thank Mike、Pete and Hans for making me feel that I am in a big warm family and a Buckeye here.Almost everything is interesting and fresh to me here,I have much to talk about, what'more,I harvest much that will be kept in my memory forever.

~O(∩_∩)O~

Now I want tell some feelings about the Columbus Zoo trip last Saturday.

The zoo provides visitors wonderful service and it has an interactive relationship with visitors.Although the time and the weather when we visited it made almost animals sleep,I still felt that the zoo was lively and the people around us were very happy.

We saw some reef among many different kinds of beautiful fish in the Africa section of the zoo, I could hardly believe that they were real at my first sight because they were too pretty. However,it seems that the beauty is going to be unreal in fact.Reef is becoming extinct for the reason that we human beings are polluting its habitat. The seawater is getting dirtier day by day,and human beings are using much sources of energy which make a mass of carbon dioxide, all we've done does much harm to reef's life.In addition,we also kill reef to make some productions such as necklaces. The behavior is terrible!

I think that all animals' lives including human beings' are relative,so the things we do to make our lives better sometimes are bad to some other creatures. The relationship among the whole biosphere should be paid more attention to,and we should,no,we have to keep harmony with the nuture so that we can have a bright future.

A sunny day in Zoo

We all went to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium on this sunny Saturday. It is an amazing trip.

I was really happy to see a lot of animals that I've never seen before, such as polar bear , koala, kangaroo, otter.

However, the most exciting animals to me are sea star and sea horse. When I touched the sea star ,I found that it is tough instead of soft .That it's not the way i had imagined in my mind.So it was so interesting. And I was also lucky to see two big sea horses with myriad small ones. I used to think that male sea horse could breed. But the staff in the Aquarium told to me that the fact is that female sea horse takes charge of breeding while the male sea horse takes charge of looking after the baby sea horses in his brood pouch. Sea horse is really a kind of special animal. In fact,I l ike them so much because I live in a city by the sea in China and my love to halobios traces back to my childhood.

A day to the Columbus zoo

Yesterday ,we went to the Columbus zoo.The zoo is very big and consists of a wide variety of animals and plants throughout the world. We went to the "Polar frontier"and "Asia Quest" in the morning and "Austrialia Islands"and "African forest" in the afternoon. It's really fantastic and interesting.

Walking in the zoo,we enjoyed the beautful scenery as well as learning much knowledge. Although the wonderful environment in the zoo, many animals are subject to extinction, such as panda, tiger, coral reef and so on. According to the statistics, half of the world's original forest cover is gone. The last tropical rainforest tree will fall in 2045 at the current rate of decline. As we 've known ,the forests play an substantial part in substaining the whole climate and ecosystem ,so the price we human beings taken may be beyong our expectation when destroying them.

The most impressing thing to me is the gorilla's adopting. At first,we humans bring the little garillas into a surrogate family created by us,then we choose a mother for them .After some period of time,a silverback is joined in the groups.Although the procedure may look normal to us, it contain a common but profound rule of nature ,that is:" only garillas can teach other garillas how to be a gareilla."Actually ,most animals are gregarious .Without groups ,it's hard for them to survive .The fact that the groups are getting fewer and fewer can break out our illusion that we humans can always keep several animals at the end in case of their extinction. So what we have to do now is to conserve it and take some efficient actions to protect them. Fortunately there are many conservations now to help protect the animals and the public are getting to pay more and more attention to it.I hope that we human beings can finally find a balance between the development of industrialization and the maintenance of our beautiful planet.

Anyway ,it's a happy experience to visit the zoo. We had a good time there.

A JOINT RESPONSIBLITY

I do believe that both America and China should contribute more to tackle with the pollution since both of us owe too much to Nature in the process of modernization. That is a fundamental issue most of us will agree.
The point is ,should we do it in separate ways or in a joint way? For those who believe " one and one is two", you may come to a quick answer that we should just do our own job.
Theoretically , it does make some sense, however. But a fact may have been ignored that China is yet to finish its modernization . Indeed ,fantastic and modern cities are dotted throughout my country ,which leaves a impression to foreigners that China IS a developed country, while in the vast rural areas , people there are just struggling to survive. As the gap between the rich and the poor widens , they do not benefit much from the process of the modernization. Their lives don't change remarkably. That is why we DO NOT separate our responsibility.
The die is cast. Our environment is deteriorating and we are running out of time. What matters is not how much we have done as various countries but as the whole human race. Then without assistance of developed countries , those developing countrieswith the world's largest and poorest population , will make way less contribution to restore the Nature than they would have. That is why we SHOUL NOT separate our responsibility.
I fully understand that some Americans may fear that the power of the US could be threatened as long as the developing countries are access to things like high technologies. Fear ,however, is just one thing deeply rooted in the human nature. As Franklin D. Roosevelt has pointed out ,the only thing we have to Fear is Fear Itself. It does make sense in providing financial and technological assistances and conducting joint researches. After all , in the long run ,China will become an indispensable international power with or without the help of the US. But the thing is we can become friends instead of ideological enemies.
That is why we CAN NOT separate our responsibility.
To summarize my views, the key to tackle with environmental problems is whether China and America will shoulder their joint responsibility. Only in that way ,can we ever imagine a bright future of the whole human race.

just some feelings

On Saturday, we went to the Columbus Zoo ,which is one of the top ten zoos in the United States of America to have the special trip with the animals. And I am just going to write a few words about my zoo trip yesterday. I really enjoyed myself there, and in thinking about it,what we should do that connect to wildlife and climate, and the importance of the zoo for us, and for the environment. We must make something as the alarm to teach people to be aware of the significance for us to live friendly with the environment, that means the earth is not just for the human beings, it is also for the animals, which is also an important part of our lives. As we all know that, a balanced ecosystem is of significance for protecting the earth and the environment. So we should do some necessary events to treat animals and plants mildly to balance the ecosystem.
It is really great to see so many kinds of animals, and especially that I got excited about enjoying the chance to see so closely the polar bears, koala and so many other animals which are not common to see in the zoo. Then I just want to take the polar bears as the example to talk about something on environmental protection.
When I searched the Internet, I got some detailed information about the lovely babies. The polar bear is a bear native largely within the Arctic circle encompassing the Arctic Ocean, its surrounding seas and surrounding land masses. Although it is closely related to the brown bear, it has evolved to occupy a narrow ecological niche, with many body characteristics adapted for cold temperatures, for moving across snow, ice, and open water, and for hunting the seals which make up most of its diet. Although most polar bears are born on land, they spend most of their time at sea and can hunt consistently only from sea ice, so spend much of the year on the frozen sea.
So we can learned global warming as the most significant threat to the polar bear, primarily because the melting of its sea ice habitat reduces its ability to find sufficient food. And the IUCN states, "If climatic trends continue polar bears may become extirpated from most of their range within 100 years." According that, we may can draw a conclusion that the climate has already been changing all the time. And global warming is one of the most typical phenomenon that presents the climate change. The key danger posed by global warming is malnutrition or starvation due to habitat loss. Polar bears hunt seals from a platform of sea ice. Rising temperatures cause the sea ice to melt earlier in the year, driving the bears to shore before they have built sufficient fat reserves to survive the period of scarce food in the late summer and early fall. Reduction in sea-ice cover also forces bears to swim longer distances, which further depletes their energy stores and occasionally leads to drowning. And a warming climate is expected to affect various other aspects of polar bear life. Maybe the final consequence waiting for the lovely bears is only extinction if the environment still like this now.And people will disappear some days later······
Animals really can be a important part of our life, and we should be grateful for all the reminders that the zoo offered us to protect our environment at a time.
